This Was No Ordinary Groundhog Day

Wow, what a beautiful day! This morning started out by going to visit with the boys. They wrestled, walked in our shoes and played with the ball. Just before we left they were getting ready to go outside and play since the sun finally came out. All the kids were excited. Tola picked us up and off we went to our wonderful day of sight seeing in Bila Tservka.

Every street he tried to turn down was blocked off by the police due to a bike race going on in the main part of the city. We took back roads to get to a huge park. It was absolutely beautiful. There were big trees, beautiful waterfalls, and swans. The picture of Tola under the sign is him pointing towards New York. All the wedding parties come here to have their pictures made. The walking trails go everywhere. They even give you a map to help you find your way around. Only problem is we could not read it so we just followed our tour guide Tola.

There was an amphitheater, I stood at one end and James at the other. I could whisper I love you and he could hear me. It was so cool. We stood there like little kids talking back and forth. There were also numerous statues and we had no idea who or what most were but Tola did his best to explain everything to us.There is a picture of James grabbing the Chinese guys beard. Supposedly this is for good luck but we don't believe in luck. We just grabbed his beard for the fun of it. As we walked down by the river it dawned on us that something was looking very familar about the area across from us. It was our hotel Dubrava. We had no idea that we were directly across the river from this beautiful park. It took us a few hours to go thru the park and we had a great time.

Stay tuned for the rest of the story and more pictures tomorrow.

FWC- We pray you have a blessed day of worship.

In His Love,

Penny, James, Luke and Micah

Well I hope you check this when you get up in the morning. Auburn beat TN 14-12. We listened to some on the radio and watched the 4th qtr on TV. It was probably one of the ugliest wins I have ever seen but it was a win. Looks like ya'll had a great day and a day filled with beauty. I can really sense the anticipation of picking up the boys. I know you can hardly wait. Take care and as I have said many times before. I am praying for you and I love all of you.War Eagle!!!

The scenery in the pictures is absolutely gorgeous! Strolling through that park looks like it would be very peaceful. I wouldn't mind taking a stroll through it.
Mark's cell phone is no longer with us. :( He lost the back off of it bout a week ago. then while he was mowing yesterday - - he lost the battery so now it's gone to be with all his other cell phones in the black hole of no return. Mine is still lost - we felt pretty strange today with NO cell phone at all. Last night we were going down the hwy and Mark said at least 10 times "I need to call ______" Yep, he was having severe withdrawals. THis could be interesting just watching him survive without it. Hee hee.
Wonder if he'll have little jitters and wiggles???? :O)
Several people told me that they had tried to blog you and couldn't figure this thing out - so I tried to explain an easy way - - maybe they'll get it. Brenda Elrod- and Brenda Coburn and there were a few more - we'll see if they can get it to work for them. THey have been reading - just can't get their messages to go through. you know computers are not our friends. THey constantly challenge us and test our patience. BUT the good news is - you got me :O) Chatty Kathy!
Everyone is getting excited now that the days are counting down.
I know that your Mom is really anxious to see you.
Pastor says to tell you he misses you and is looking forward to you getting home. He really misses the James talks on the cell phone. oh dear - the cell phone - - it's in the black hole of no return. We'll remedy that before you get home!!!!!!!!

Love you soooooooo very much

Kathy
